Job Description

Oracle Technical & Apex consultant is responsible to work closely with the Oracle ERP Functional & Technical team to successfully manage the designing, customizing, implementing, development, support, testing using Oracle tools and technologies and preparing technical documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust web applications using Oracle APEX, ensuring high performance and compliance with business requirements.
  • Develop and implement PL/SQL procedures, packages, and triggers.
  • Responsible for providing day-to-day technical assistance to ERP operations from a technical perspective
  • Design and develop integrations in OIC to Oracle ERP, including making REST and SOAP calls
  • Provide hands-on technical and development support for implemented Oracle ERP modules.
  • Gather and document business requirements on IT incidents and change work.
  • Document and manage technical specifications and software packages.
  • Manage on-time changes, delivery, and business expectations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide hands-on analysis, design, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support utilizing prescribed software design lifecycle techniques and system documentation techniques (AIMS/OUM).
  • Complete development tasks based on requirements submitted by business partners and follow Oracle best practices.
  • Troubleshoot process issues and provide remedial actions, whether functional or technical in nature, liaising with Oracle where required.

Accountabilities:

  • Ensure cost-effective use of Oracle service subscriptions and other Oracle development tools.
  • Optimize processing costs while maintaining Oracle performance and security.
  • Maintain data quality and integrity, and adhere to Oracle coding standards.
  • Enhance the organization s ability and improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • Master s degree or relevant professional certification
