Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Production & Operations Management

  • Lead end-to-end plant operations including blending, filling, and packaging processes

  • Develop and execute production plans aligned with sales forecasts and customer demand

  • Monitor daily production output, efficiency, and downtime, ensuring targets are achieved

  • Optimize resource utilization including manpower, machinery, and materials

  • Ensure timely delivery of finished goods while maintaining cost efficiency

2. Blending & Technical Oversight

  • Develop, review, and optimize lubricant blending formulations

  • Ensure correct usage of base oils, additives, and raw materials

  • Coordinate with technical and QC teams for product consistency and compliance

  • Support new product development and trial batches

3. Planning, ERP & Reporting

  • Prepare and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routing structures

  • Maintain and control ERP system data including production codes and inventory records

  • Track production KPIs and maintain accurate daily production reports

  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management review

  • Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities

4. Quality Assurance & Control

· Ensure strict adherence to established quality standards and product specifications

· Collaborate closely with the QC team on testing, validation, and batch approval processes

· Investigate non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

· Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation to support audits and certifications

· Demonstrate knowledge of lubricant formulations, ASTM standards, and lubricant testing procedures

5. Maintenance & Asset Management

  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs

  • Ensure maximum equipment uptime and operational reliability

  • Identify requirements for new machinery and upgrades

  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize breakdowns and production loss

6. Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Management

  • Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and legal regulations

  • Promote a strong safety culture across all plant operations

  • Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations

  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials

7. Supply Chain & Material Management

  • Plan and control raw material requirements based on production schedules

  • Coordinate with procurement for timely sourcing of base oils, additives, and packaging materials

  • Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking

  • Approve incoming materials in coordination with QC

8. Cost Control & Budgeting

  • Develop and manage plant operational budgets

  • Monitor and control production costs, including labor, materials, and utilities

  • Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve cost efficiency

  • Support financial planning and cost analysis initiatives

9. Team Leadership & Workforce Management

  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams including production, QC, maintenance, warehouse, and HSE

  • Define roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations

  • Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development

  • Ensure proper staffing levels and workforce planning

10. Continuous Improvement & Strategy

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, efficiency, waste reduction)

  • Implement best practices to enhance productivity and operational excellence

  • Support expansion plans, capacity improvement, and process automation

  • Align plant operations with overall company strategy
