Job Details

The Portal Manager will be responsible for overseeing, planning, developing, content creation, and managing all aspects of several consumer-focused portals. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, excellent project management abilities, and a deep understanding of digital content creation and management. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality online experiences and driving engagement with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic plans for multiple consumer-focused portals to ensure alignment with business objectives and audience needs.

Understand the support needs of a Sales and Marketing organization

Success in working effectively across organizational silos to achieve tangible business results

Experience driving change in a customer-facing business area / the customer experience

Superior communication (both written and verbal) and organizational skills

Thrives in a fast-paced, unstructured environment with changing priorities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the portals, including content creation, publishing schedules, and performance tracking.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, designers, developers, and marketing professionals, to drive portal development and optimization efforts.

Manage portal budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.

Monitor key performance metrics, analyze data insights, and make data-driven decisions to improve portal performance and user engagement.

Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital content management to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, external partners, and portal users, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and managing feedback effectively.

Qualifications

Requirements (Qualifications/Experience/Competencies)

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.

Proven experience of min 4 years in digital content management, preferably in a consumer-focused or e-commerce environment.

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), web analytics tools, and digital marketing platforms.

Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for creating exceptional online experiences.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data insights to drive decision-making and optimization efforts.
