Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Technical Procurement: Manage the procurement cycle for Civil, Infrastructure, or MEP materials, ensuring full compliance with technical specifications and project blueprints.

  • Vendor Compliance: Coordinate and ensure all materials and subcontractors meet ADNOC technical approvals and vendor registration requirements.

  • Commercial Evaluation: Conduct detailed price comparisons and technical bid evaluations to ensure the best value for the project.

  • Supply Chain Management: Manage the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process, negotiate contracts, and issue Purchase Orders (POs) through the company’s ERP system.

  • Liaison: Act as the primary link between the site engineering team, suppliers, and the client to resolve technical queries or delivery bottlenecks.

  • Reporting: Maintain accurate procurement trackers and provide weekly status updates on long-lead items and budget variances.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Skills

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of hands-on procurement experience in the UAE, specifically with infrastructure-focused contracting firms.

  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of ADNOC codes, standards, and the local supplier market in Abu Dhabi.

  • Competencies: Strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight project deadlines.

  • Language: Fluency in English (written and verbal).

Requirements for Selection

  • Proven track record in handling infrastructure-scale procurement.

  • Direct experience with ADNOC project documentation and approval workflows.

  • Residency or previous experience in Abu Dhabi is highly preferred.
