Procurement Engineer

JASARA PMC is seeking a proficient Procurement Engineer to join our team, focusing on sourcing and procurement activities for our engineering and construction projects. As a Procurement Engineer at JASARA PMC, you will be responsible for evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that projects receive the materials and services necessary for success while adhering to budget and timeline constraints. Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet project needs.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate procurement contracts and agreements to ensure the best terms.
• Monitor and assess supplier performance and adherence to contracts.
• Collaborate with project teams to determine procurement needs and specifications.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and standards.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement best procurement practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably in the engineering or construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract law, and negotiation techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluency in English, with proficiency in Arabic being an advantage.
