Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and purchasing.
  • Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to secure favorable agreements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to meet requirements.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and legal regulations.
  • Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Prepare procurement budgets, forecasts, and performance reports for management.
  • Manage supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or related field.
  • 5 8 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
  • Experience with ERP or procurement software systems.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
