Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
• Identify the companyu2019s needs for materials, equipment, and services in coordination with different departments.
• Source qualified suppliers and conduct market research to compare prices and quality.
• Prepare purchase requests and ensure execution within the approved budget.
Negotiation and Supplier Management:
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
• Draft contracts and purchase agreements and ensure compliance with their terms.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and improve service levels.
Ensuring Compliance and Quality:
• Ensure that all purchases meet company standards and quality requirements.
• Monitor the receipt of goods and verify their compliance with specifications.
• Address any issues related to product quality or delivery delays.
Data Management and Reporting:
• Constantly update data
•Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities and suppliers.
• Prepare periodic reports on costs, expenditures, and market trends analysis.
• Suggest improvements to procurement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bacheloru2019s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Previous experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the same industry.
Required Skills:
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build good relationships with suppliers.
• Good knowledge of procurement procedures and best practices.
• Analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with procurement and contract regulations.
• Proficiency in procurement management software and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team
