Within the Product Marketing Department and in conjunction with the R&D teams, the Product Manager is responsible for identifying, formalizing, and justifying market needs for Insight Search in order to influence the development strategy of our DeepLinq product. The Product Manager thus contributes to the evolution of our DeepLinq product and to the growth of our software publishing business.
Missions
Working closely with the R&D and Sales teams, the Product Manager contributes to the strategy and development of the product offering, becoming the product expert. This includes:
Identifying opportunities arising from market and competitive intelligence analysis, facilitating complex client working groups
Defend the product and the roadmap to influencers and analyst firms (CXP, Gartner, Forrester, IDC,...
Conduct feasibility studies for new modules and/or new features
Participate in the development of the product roadmap in conjunction with the Product Owner
Implement and deliver this roadmap through the writing of User Stories + Wireframes
Set up and monitor the various analytics KPIs
Communicating internally and externally (customers, partners, analysts) about product advancements
Conducting studies and benchmarks to identify best practices
Formalize and submit the arbitration documents (value analysis, competitive positioning, requirements matrix, risk analysis)
Participate in the drafting of communication/marketing materials for clients or sales teams
Present the product to customers and partners
Profiles
Possessing a dual background in Digital and Marketing with a desire to invest myself in a software publisher.
Holder of a higher education degree, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in project management in the software / Product Marketing / IT R&D sector.
Knowledge of the market for search software publishing, content management and the cloud industry will enable the candidate to easily understand the business and product challenges.
Experience in managing a complete project lifecycle (from idea to operations)
Ability to break down MVP features and a longer-term, iteration-based vision
Follow processes, work in a team and share the progress of the activity via reporting.
Possessing rigor and interpersonal skills to work across disciplines with multidisciplinary teams.
An ability to adapt to new and potentially unknown methods or technologies
Having listening skills, a logical mind and the ability to synthesize information.
A good command of the English language is essential for this position.
