Role & responsibilities :


Client Expectation: Program Manager responsible for leading and delivering payment domain initiatives, with strong experience in cards payment projects and banking platforms. The role requires managing end-to-end project delivery, including planning, stakeholder coordination, governance, risk management, and timeline tracking. The candidate should have good knowledge of cards issuing, acquiring, tokenization, wallets, and payment integrations. Responsible for aligning business, channels, vendors, and IT teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery. The Program Manager should be able to manage multiple priorities, support agile delivery, and drive clear communication across stakeholders. Experience in banking or financial services is preferred, especially within payments and card platforms.

Prior Experience:

Minimum 8 years experience as an IT Project Manager preferably with exposure in a Banking/Financial institution.

Overall experience of more than 10 years.

Minimum 2 years of experience in Finance/ Banking Industry.

Demonstrated experience managing technology and business projects.

Experience in delivering Waterfall and Hybrid Methodology projects.

Certified Project Management (PMP/Prince 2)

Tools: Microsoft Office suite as well as Visio & Project Role Specific Knowledge.

Excellent understanding of Project Management, planning, monitoring project planning, monitoring & reporting within a large multi-faceted organization and a proven track record of delivery.

Knowledge on Planning, Cost and budget analysis, Team Management, Time Management, Leadership, Coaching & Mentorship.

Knowledge of different approaches to deliver project, including agile and waterfall.

High level of attention to detail, organized, structure way of thinking and delivery.

Strong interpersonal, people management and facilitation skills with an ability to secure buy-in and bind people to proactively support project delivery (tact and diplomacy, influencing skills and overall sensitivity to the implications of change).

Experience of complex change management programs/business transformation and strategy execution.
