Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with vendors to secure the best possible deals for all purchased items, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for the organization.
- Manage the entire procurement cycle, from identifying needs and sourcing vendors to order placement, tracking, and delivery, to ensure timely and accurate supply.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and all relevant regulations in all procurement activities, for responsible purchasing.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and specifications, to ensure alignment with company requirements.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to purchase orders, invoices, or deliveries, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, for a strong foundation.
- Demonstrates proficiency in using procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), for efficient management.
- Exhibits strong negotiation and communication skills, for effective vendor interactions.
- Displays excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, enabling sound decision-making.
- Has 3-5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, showing proven ability.
