Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage end to end purchasing activities for all restaurant branches.

  • Source quality food ingredients, beverages, packaging materials, kitchen equipment, and other supplies.

  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to all outlets without stock shortages.

  • Develop and implement centralized purchasing systems across all branches.

  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with storekeepers and outlet managers.

  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best price and quality.

  • Maintain strong relationships with approved vendors.

  • Conduct supplier performance evaluations regularly.

  • Ensure all suppliers meet company quality standards and food safety requirements.

  • Develop backup vendors to avoid supply disruptions.

  • Monitor food cost and purchasing budget for all outlets.

  • Negotiate pricing agreements and long term contracts.

  • Analyze market trends to forecast price fluctuations.

  • Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.

  • Prepare monthly procurement and cost reports for management.

  • Ensure all purchased items comply with food safety standards and local regulations.

  • Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance checks.

  • Work closely with chefs, outlet managers, and finance department.

  • Monitor stock turnover ratios and reduce wastage.

  • Implement inventory control systems (FIFO, stock audits, etc.).

  • Support new outlet openings with procurement planning.

  • Lead and supervise procurement team and store staff.

  • Set KPIs for purchasing department.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in procurement within the F&B industry.

  • Experience handling purchasing for multiple restaurant outlets.

  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

  • Knowledge of food safety standards and inventory management systems.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.

  • Strong analytical and leadership skills.
