Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Implement QA/QC activities including those of sub-suppliers works in accordance with approved ITPs and procedures, method statements and other Contract documents.
Prepare and sign-off applicable records for quality surveillance / inspections / tests.
Maintain records of calibration, inspection and testing equipment.
Ensure availability of appropriate version of applicable work documents.
Witness qualification procedures, tests and certify the results
Provide feed-back to Site Quality Engineer or next immediate authority in quality organization chart (where SQE is not identified) on the day-to-day quality issues.
Desired Candidate Profile
Shall have a minimum of 10 years of overall experience. Shall have at least 5 years of experience working as a Civil Inspector of quality control and inspection experience in construction activities (civil and structural). The experience shall include works involving soil excavation and earthworks, concrete works, block works, structural steel works and roofing, roads and paving, tank pads, bunds and other general activities associated with civil and building works. Shall have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Middle East region. Shall be thoroughly familiar with civil construction materials and construction methods, testing of civil construction materials, international codes and standards for civil design
