Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily QA and food safety activities on the production floor.
- Ensure full implementation and compliance with food safety systems such as HACCP, GMP, and relevant quality standards (ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000).
- Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and verify corrective actions for deviations.
- Conduct internal audits and support external audits by regulatory authorities and certification bodies.
- Ensure proper documentation and record keeping of all quality and food safety activities.
- Investigate product non-conformities, customer complaints, and food safety incidents, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to ensure hygienic practices and quality standards are maintained.
- Supervise QA staff, assign tasks, provide on-the-job training, and evaluate performance.
- Review raw material, packaging, and finished product inspection results and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Participate in risk assessments, food safety meetings, and management reviews.
- Ensure proper implementation of sanitation, pest control, and personal hygiene programs.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and food safety.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in food quality or food safety assurance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards (ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000 preferred).
- Experience in conducting audits and implementing quality management systems.
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and high sense of responsibility.
