Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities and Tasks :

  • Conduct internal audits on all departments, identify non-compliance cases, take corrective action, and follow up on their implementation until they are closed.
  • Follow up on the results of external audits from external parties, identify non-compliance cases, take corrective action, and follow up on their implementation until they are closed.
  • Follow up and resolve customer complaints that are received, analyze customer complaints to include them in management reviews, and conduct customer surveys (internal/external).
  • Make an inventory of all measuring devices in the company (laboratories - factory), assign them specific codes, and include them in the annual external/internal calibration plan.
  • Follow up on the implementation of the external/internal calibration plan for measuring devices used in the company.
  • Calibrate laboratory devices according to a calibration plan that is developed after obtaining quotes from companies approved by the National Accreditation Council.
  • Ensure the application and implementation of the requirements of the ISO 17025 standard for laboratory accreditation.
  • Maintain the master list of current versions of quality system and laboratory accreditation documents.
  • Issue, amend, or cancel records and documents, and distribute them in accordance with the document control system.
  • Retain original copies of documents and records, as well as external documents.

Quality Performance Indicators :

  • Reduce the percentage of non-conformities resulting from internal and external audits, customer audits, or customer complaints.
  • Planned internal audits at least once a year.
  • Achieve the external/internal calibration plan for monitoring and measuring devices and laboratory equipment.
  • Complete the procedures and requirements necessary to obtain the required certifications.
  • Achieve control over critical control points established in accordance with HACCP plans.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of progressive experience in quality assurance within the food processing industry.
  • Proven experience in leading QA teams and managing quality systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards such as ISO 22000, HACCP, and GMP.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate across departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work onsite and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
