Quality Engineer ALSTOM

We ll look to you for:

• Establishing, implementing, validating (for subcontractors), and updating Quality Installation Control Plans and relevant QC forms in accordance with contract requirements, Alstom processes, and lessons learned from previous projects, and ensuring their proper application.
• Ensuring the control of output quality documents and records on site, such as Control Documents, Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and Construction Drawings (IFC Issued for Construction).
• Ensuring all work is executed using approved documents (IFC) and maintaining proper traceability and records for monitoring and measuring devices.
• Performing site quality animation with cross-functional teams and deploying a right-first-time mindset in the construction/installation environment of the subsystems within your scope.
• Preparing the Sub-System Punch list (internal/customer) and Outstanding Works list in conjunction with the Installation Team, and supporting the PrQSM in performing criticality assessments (Safety, Operational, Functional, Technical, Documentation, etc.).
• Leading continuous improvement and problem-solving activities at the subsystem installation level to reduce the costs of non-quality (e.g., 8D, QRQC, REX).
• Providing quality awareness on installation activities planned for the project and organizing quality training for the installation team when needed.
• Supporting the installation team regarding self-inspection and delegation of control through training and audits.
• Supporting the PrQSM in driving the DfQ process, including initiating readiness reviews of Subsystem Gate Reviews (GRs), delivering M+2 look-ahead forecasts, and collecting/archiving GR evidence with project stakeholders.
• Performing or participating in site quality inspections of installation activities (Alstom or subcontractors scope) and customer joint inspections, as well as preparing inspection reports and documenting inspection results in relevant tools as per project rules.
