The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all costs, contracts, and quantity-related aspects of the project. The role ensures accurate measurement of work, preparation of valuations, monitoring of project costs, management of variations, and support in claims and commercial reporting. The QS supports both project execution and commercial decision-making.

The Project Controller is also responsible for:

• Establishing and managing systems, tools, and procedures.

• Skilled in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, progress valuations, subcontract management, and variation/claims preparation.

• Strong understanding of contract conditions, cost control principles, and project documentation.

• Adept at working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with project budgets, and timely certification of works.

• Known for accuracy, analytical skills, and the ability to deliver clear commercial insights that support project and management decision-making.

• Ensuring timely and accurate project reporting to stakeholders.

• Collaborating with project teams and functional departments related to:

  • Schedule development, updates, and critical path analysis.

  • Cost control, resource tracking, and project risk assessments.
