Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to customers experiencing issues with Supermicro hardware.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose hardware problems, identify root causes, and develop solutions to resolve issues efficiently.
Customer Interaction: Interact with customers via phone, email, or remote sessions to understand and resolve their hardware-related concerns.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and solutions provided.
Hardware Maintenance & Operations: Perform hardware maintenance tasks such as component replacements, Perform Hardware / Software Upgrades as required.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software support and engineering, to address complex issues that may involve both hardware and software components.

Key Skills required:
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Hardware components, including AMD & Nvidia GPU Systems, Storage SAN & NAS, UEFI / BIOS Firmware, IPMI, iKVM, SUM and other Supermicro Tools
Good Knowledge: Networking (L2), and Virtualization Technologies (VMware & HyperV) Windows, Linux, Ubuntu, Unix Operating Systems, Backup Landscape
Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities to quickly identify and resolve hardware issues.
Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and document support interactions.
Customer-Focused: A customer-centric approach to ensure customer satisfaction and build positive relationships.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and provide valuable insights for product improvements.
