Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are a leading retailer of mobile phones and accessories, with over 15 outlets across the UAE. We are currently seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager who has experience in managing a minimum of 10 stores under their supervision.

Major Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Set monthly sales targets for each outlet.

2. Maximize sales and profitability by monitoring staff productivity and daily sales average.

3. Review daily sales report and instruct team to perform accordingly.

4. Execute marketing plans and events like DSF, DSS, Flash/Super sales etc.

5. Keep track of categories target versus achievement on daily and monthly basis.

6. Aware of competition, retail sector trends and current trading opportunities.

7. Watch market prices and coordinate with purchase team.

8. Ensure that all point of sales are efficiently and effectively managed.

9. Coach the sales staff to optimize space for special events, such as in-store discount sales/ promotions.

10. Monitor the staff customer service to ensure a satisfied clientele.

11. Promote customer service excellence by running surveys and analyzing benchmarks.

12. To undertake any other relevant duties within the overall scope of this post as may be requested by the management.

13. Should be able to manage multiple branches and their employees.

Desired Candidate Profile

Knowledge/Skills

  • Preferred Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sales or Marketing and Sales management.
  • Mandatory should have experience in handling minimum 10 stores
  • 5 -12 years of experience in similar field managing multiple stores operationally.
  • UAE Driving License preferred
  • Excellent report, organizational, networking, and leadership skills.
  • Strong communicator and negotiator.
  • Active and detail oriented.
  • Performance and achievement driven.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
