Job Description

As a Retail Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our retail store by leading sales strategies, managing a dynamic team, and ensuring exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, analyzing sales trends, and implementing effective sales strategies to exceed targets. Your passion for retail, combined with your strong leadership qualities, will be key in fostering a motivating environment to achieve business goals. In this hands-on role, you will engage directly with customers, address their needs, and provide solutions, all while ensuring that the store remains a vibrant and welcoming place for shoppers.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve store targets and objectives.
  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate the sales team to enhance performance and meet sales goals.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the retail market and emerging trends to stay competitive.
  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service standards to all store patrons.
  • Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, replenishment, and inventory audits.
  • Analyze store sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales associates in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships to optimize product offerings.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns and events.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards within the store.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports for senior management on store performance and strategies.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, retail management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Retail Sales Manager or similar supervisory role in retail.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a dynamic team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse customers.
  • Comprehensive understanding of retail management best practices and financial objectives.
  • Ability to analyze sales metrics and convert insights into actionable strategies.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and retail management systems.
