Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Rotary Technician performs installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, turbines, and gearboxes in Oil & Gas facilities, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Responsible for executing preventive and corrective maintenance, alignment, vibration checks, lubrication, and commissioning of rotary equipment while strictly following HSE and PTW procedures.

  • Install, dismantle, and reassemble pumps, compressors, turbines, and associated equipment
  • Perform precision alignment using laser/dial alignment tools
  • Conduct vibration analysis, coupling alignment, bearing replacements, and lubrication
  • Support hydro testing, commissioning, and startup activities
  • Inspect equipment for defects, report technical issues, and assist in troubleshooting
  • Maintain tools, equipment logs, and ensure PTW/LOTO compliance
  • Follow OEM guidelines and standard operating procedures for all rotary equipment
  • Participate in shutdowns and turnaround maintenance

Desired Candidate Profile

ITI / Diploma Mechanical or related field
3 6 years experience in Oil & Gas rotary equipment maintenance
