Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise PVV (Pressure, Venting, Valve) pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities for assigned subsystems.
- Coordinate required resources including technicians, equipment, vendors, and other disciplines.
- Ensure activities are executed in accordance with commissioning procedures and approved schedules.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces to ensure timely system completion.
- Witness and verify PVV activities and system completion activities performed by the EPC Contractor.
- Approve tasks and manage punch list categorization and closure.
- Attend construction-to-commissioning and commissioning-to-operations walk-downs.
- Ensure proper vessel transfer to Commissioning.
- Follow hydrotest activities and piping alignment dossiers.
- Monitor leak test preparation and execution.
- Ensure accurate and complete population of ICAPS (Integrated Commissioning and Progress System).
- Follow EPC Contractor commissioning activities using OPERCOM methodology and ICAPS .
- Ensure pre-commissioning and commissioning tools are available and properly maintained.
- Compile and review handover dossiers prior to acceptance by Operations.
- Verify piping discipline documentation before formal system acceptance.
- Monitor red-line mark-up drawings and document updates.
- Report commissioning progress, execution sheets, and punch list status.
- Assist in coordinating vendor support for assigned systems.
- Monitor EPC Contractor commissioning scope including:
- Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
- Operational Test Procedures (OTP)
- Documentation updates
- Punch list closure
- Reporting
- Monitor vendor commissioning activities including:
- SAT
- OTP
- Documentation updates
- Punch list closure
- Reporting
- Coordinate with other project entities, disciplines, and existing facilities.
- Ensure smooth interface between Construction, Commissioning, and Operations teams.
- Adopt a proactive approach to resolving issues and minimizing delays.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the onshore and offshore oil & gas industry.
- At least 3 years of experience in a Commissioning Supervisor role.
- Experience with NOC Standards (Total General Specifications).
- Familiarity with OPERCOM methodology and ICAPS software.
- Knowledge of MA-NASA / PRODOM systems and relevant industry codes and standards.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to work in complex and multicultural project environments.
- Proactive and organized approach to work.
- Fluent in English (mandatory).
- Local language depending on EPC location:
- Mandarin (for WHP and CPP projects)
- Korean (for CPP projects)
- H2S OPITO Certification.
- T-BOSIET Certification.
