Inspection and Control: Conduct daily and periodic inspections of the site and equipment, and ensure the availability of safety equipment (PPE).

Risk assessment: Identifying potential risks and preparing plans to manage and mitigate them.

Compliance and Regulations: Ensuring compliance with local laws, international safety standards (OSHA), and company policies.

Emergency Management: Developing and updating evacuation plans, first aid, and training staff on them.

Training and awareness: Organizing periodic training courses to increase awareness of safety and safe practices.

Accident Investigation: Investigating workplace and near misses to identify root causes and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence.

Reporting: Documenting and preparing daily/weekly reports on the safety situation and any violations.

Stop work: Having the authority to stop any unsafe work immediately. 

Required qualifications and skills:

Specialized professional certifications (such as OSHA, NEBOSH, CSP).

Practical experience in safety supervision (often at construction sites).

Strong knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations.

Strong communication, leadership, and observation skills.
