Roles & Responsibilities

Canonical is profitable and growing. We view our sales development organization as the best technology sales academy on the market and, as such, we select exceptional and ambitious candidates for our team. You will enjoy this role if you are organized, tenacious, charismatic and diligent. You should have an interest in technology and its business impacts. In this position, you will work with a regional sales and marketing team, and your primary goal will be to find customer projects that fit our product lines and spread Canonical's good name across various industries and regions.

How the day will look:

  • Handling inbound customer inquiries via email, phone, and chat
  • Executing outbound sales and marketing campaigns
  • Traveling to events and conferences globally, presenting at booths, and promoting in-person marketing and sales opportunities
  • Collaborating with various teams and high-level stakeholders to achieve results
  • Working directly with marketing on campaigns
  • Researching information on potential customers
  • Generating a multi-million-dollar pipeline
  • Identifying market trends
  • Helping to define processes and guidelines for the team
  • Contacting new and existing customers, setting up and attending meetings, and actively maintaining contact to identify new opportunities
  • Creating, updating, and maintaining leads for global opportunities.
