We are seeking a motivated and proactive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our expansion into the United Arab Emirates (UAE) market. As an SDR, you will play a vital role in generating new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying potential clients, contributing directly to Verto's growth in the region. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their sales career who is passionate about fintech and eager to break into an exciting and dynamic market.
Responsibilities:
Lead Generation: Research and identify potential SME clients involved in international trade who could benefit from Verto's payment and FX solutions.
Outbound Outreach: Initiate contact with prospects via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels to introduce Verto's services and qualify interest.
Pipeline Support: Work closely with Account Executives and the wider sales team to book qualified meetings and ensure a smooth handoff of prospects.
CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions and lead status in the CRM system.
Market Insight: Stay informed about industry trends, customer pain points, and competitor offerings to refine outreach strategies.
Team Collaboration: Share insights and collaborate with marketing and sales colleagues to improve messaging and campaign effectiveness.
Requirements:
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a B2B sales, lead generation, or business development role-ideally within fintech, financial services, or SaaS. Internship experience also considered for highly motivated candidates.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
Curiosity and Drive: A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to handle rejection while maintaining energy and professionalism.
Cultural Awareness: Familiarity with or interest in UAE business practices and customs is preferred.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, follow up effectively, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred, but not required with relevant experience.
