We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the estimation process from site analysis to budget proposals, as well as mentoring junior team members to ensure accurate, profitable, and timely bids.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Contract Stage:

• Conduct site visits and gather all necessary project data

• Analyze site conditions including Architectural, MEP, BMS, Fire & Safety systems and authority requirements

• Liaise with specialist vendors and obtain quotations for non-standard works

• Develop accurate BOQs and budgetary proposals

• Handle submissions, negotiations, and follow-ups with clients

• Maintain records/logs of all submissions and communications

• Coordinate with the design team to align BOQs with design intent

Post-Contract Stage:

• Create detailed budget lists and share vendor data with procurement

• Draft Scope of Works documents for project teams

• Manage scope changes, reconcile BOQs, and oversee variation handling

• Support progressive billing, financial planning, and petty cash requests

• Forecast cashflow and ensure project financial health

Leadership Duties:

• Oversee and train Estimators and Junior Estimators

• Review their submissions for quality, accuracy, and profitability

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred)

• Minimum 6 years of estimation experience in the UAE, especially in interior fit-out

• Strong experience in joinery works estimation is essential

• Excellent MS Excel proficiency

• Familiarity with take-off software like Navisworks / PlanSwift is a plus

• Strong organizational and communication skills
