Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Sales Executive is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of exhibition space and sponsorship opportunities. This includes identifying and approaching prospective clients, maintaining relationships with existing exhibitors, and working closely with the sales and event teams to support the successful execution of assigned events. The role is target-driven and requires a proactive approach to sales, market research, and client engagement.
Objectives:
· Sell exhibition booths and sponsorship packages for assigned shows on a daily basis.
· Support the sales strategy as directed by the Sales Manager or senior leadership.
· Achieve and exceed individual sales targets while upholding the company’s sales performance standards.
· Contribute to the smooth running of the event and overall team success.
Primary Responsibilities:
Sales Development:
· Identify new business leads and generate sales through cold calls, emails, in-person meetings, and networking.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders.
· Prepare customized sales proposals and follow up to secure confirmations.
· Respond to incoming inquiries professionally and in a timely manner.
· Attend industry exhibitions and competitor events to network and identify sales opportunities.
· Keep informed of industry developments, market trends, and competitor activity.
· Support the implementation of sales campaigns and targeted outreach activities.
· Accurately handle client objections and negotiate terms to close deals.
· Maintain excellent customer service and support throughout the sales cycle.
Sales Operations & Reporting:
· Maintain up-to-date records of sales activity, pipelines, and performance using the CRM system.
· Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
· Prepare regular updates and reports for the Sales Manager.
· Ensure timely and accurate submission of contracts, proposals, and administrative documentation.
Team & Personal Development:
· Participate in internal training sessions to enhance skills and performance.
· Collaborate with team members and share insights on best practices and new business opportunities.
Contribute to team meetings and strategy discussions as needed.
