About the role
The Sales Manager is responsible for providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales process, from initial customer engagement to post-sale implementation. This role involves analyzing customer requirements, preparing technical proposals, and delivering product demonstrations. The Sales Manager ensures that solutions are technically sound and aligned with customer needs.
Responsible for developing and executing sales strategies driving order intake, profitability, and market share growth for industrial equipment and solutions. The role focuses on key accounts, EPCs, end users, and government-related industrial projects, while ensuring strong internal coordination with global factories, service centers, and regional business units.
Key Responsibilities 1. Sales & Business Development

Own and drive sales performance across GCC countries, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain.

Develop and execute country-level and regional sales plans aligned with business unit strategy.

Lead the full sales cycle: opportunity identification, RFQ/tender review, commercial strategy, negotiation, and order booking.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key end users, EPCs, consultants, and government entities.

Act as the primary commercial contact for assigned strategic accounts across the GCC.

Manage sensitive customer matters such as pricing discussions, contractual clarifications, delivery issues, and escalations in a professional and diplomatic manner.

Ensure alignment with local agents and partners, while complying with company governance and agency policies.

Coordinate complex tender and proposal activities, ensuring close collaboration with global tendering teams, factories, and engineering.

Ensure correct commercial positioning, margins, terms & conditions, and risk assessment for each opportunity.

Ensure accurate order booking, including correct business unit ownership, SAP application codes, and P&L attribution.

Support intercompany coordination where projects involve multiple legal entities or regions.

Act as a bridge between customers and internal teams: engineering, project management, supply chain, factories, and service units.

Follow up on order confirmations, manufacturing progress, logistics, and delivery milestones to ensure customer satisfaction.

Drive internal alignment and proactively escalate risks that could impact delivery, cost, or customer relationship.

Maintain accurate CRM pipeline, forecasts, and sales reports.

Provide regular insights on market trends, competitor activities, and customer investment plans across the GCC.
