Job Description

The role of a Sales Promoter involves advocating for brands and driving sales through direct customer engagement. As a Sales Promoter, you will be responsible for highlighting product benefits, providing detailed information, and actively encouraging customers to make purchases. This role is integral in creating and sustaining customer relationships by enhancing their purchasing experience with insightful product presentations and persuasive communication skills. You will work closely with sales and marketing teams to execute promotional strategies and achieve sales targets. A successful Sales Promoter is outgoing, enthusiastic, and able to manage various promotional activities in different sales settings such as retail stores, malls, and events.


Responsibilities
  • Engage customers and introduce them to the promoted products or services effectively.
  • Provide customers with detailed information about product features and benefits.
  • Demonstrate product uses and functionalities to promote customer interest and confidence.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to generate repeat business.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to devise and implement promotional plans.
  • Manage product display and setup to attract customer attention in retail environments.
  • Gather market and customer information and indicate future buying trends to management.
  • Ensure accurate recordings of sales and customer details for future follow-up.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of product-focused events and campaigns.
  • Address customer concerns and questions with valid solutions and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Coordinate with store management to ensure products are stocked and displayed appropriately.
  • Track and achieve sales goals and report figures diligently to sales management.

Requirements
  • Proven experience working as a Sales Promoter or in a similar sales role.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential for engaging with diverse customers.
  • Strong persuasive skills to encourage and close sales with potential customers.
  • Enthusiastic and outgoing personality with a passion for customer service.
  • Able to work in varied environments, including retail outlets and trade shows.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate product details and benefits.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends based on promotional events.
  • High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
