As a Sales Specialist in the jewellery industry, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and enhancing customer experiences in the retail environment. Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and personalised recommendations to customers seeking unique jewellery pieces.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets set by the store management consistently.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest jewellery trends and innovations in the industry.
  • Maintain an organized display of jewellery pieces ensuring cleanliness and orderliness.
  • Conduct jewellery repairs or adjustments as required, ensuring customer's satisfaction.
  • Assist in inventory management, tracking stock availability and replenishment needs.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and implement promotional activities.
  • Train and mentor junior staff or new hires on sales techniques and product knowledge.
  • Prepare and manage sales documentation, such as invoices or sales reports.
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints, ensuring a positive resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere to and ensure compliance with all store policies, rules, and regulations.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in the jewellery sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interaction.
  • Strong knowledge of gemstones, precious metals, and jewellery craftsmanship.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and handle challenging customer inquiries.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, extended hours, and holidays as per store requirements.
