We are seeking an aggressive, results-driven Business Development Manager (SAP Sales) with a true "hunter" mentality. The ideal candidate is a proactive field sales expert with a proven track record of selling SAP solutions. You will be responsible for driving the entire sales lifecyclefrom prospecting and selling net-new SAP licenses to identifying fresh implementation opportunities and maximizing revenue from existing SAP customers through upgrades, cloud migrations, and managed services.



Key Responsibilities:


  • New Customer Acquisition (Hunting): * Dynamically screen the market and identify target enterprises that are prime candidates for greenfield SAP implementations.
    • Pitch and sell new SAP software licenses (such as SAP S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, and GROW with SAP).
    • Actively engage in field sales activities, cold-calling, and networking to build a robust pipeline of net-new business.
  • Account Management & Upselling (Farming): * Manage and cultivate relationships with existing SAP customers.
    • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell SAP services, including version upgrades, SAP to Cloud migrations, application management services (AMS), and technical support.
  • End-to-End Sales Cycle Management:
    • Drive the entire sales process from lead generation, initial discovery, and presentations, to contract negotiations and deal closure.
    • Work closely with pre-sales and technical delivery teams to shape tailored SAP solutions, scope requirements, and build compelling ROI-driven proposals.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives (CIOs, CFOs, CEOs) and key IT decision-makers.
    • Maintain alignment with SAPs direct sales teams and channel partners to execute co-selling strategies.
  • Market & Pipeline Strategy:
    • Maintain accurate sales pipeline forecasting and reporting using CRM tools.
    • Keep abreast of the latest SAP product innovations, market trends, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Experience: 4 to 6 years of solid experience in B2B enterprise sales, specifically focused on selling SAP licenses and SAP IT services.
  • Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of the SAP ecosystem, including SAP S/4HANA, ERP modules, implementation life cycles, system upgrades, and cloud migration strategies.
  • Sales DNA: A hardcore field-sales mentality with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales quotas.
  • Communication & Presentation: Excellent executive presence with the ability to confidently present complex solutions to senior management and negotiate high-value contracts.
  • Self-Starter: Highly motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is considered a strong plus).
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings, field sales pitches, and industry events.
