Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement custom ABAP code, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms, to meet specific business requirements and optimize SAP system performance.
  • Provide expert-level technical support and troubleshooting for SAP systems, resolving complex issues related to system performance, data integrity, and application errors.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business processes and translate them into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with SAP best practices.
  • Lead and participate in SAP system upgrades, migrations, and implementations, managing technical aspects and ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, technical manuals, and test plans, for all SAP development and support activities.
  • Perform performance tuning and optimization of SAP systems, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to improve system responsiveness and efficiency.
  • Configure and manage SAP Basis components, including system administration, security, and transport management, to ensure system stability and availability.
  • Stay current with SAP technologies, including new releases, updates, and emerging trends, and proactively identify opportunities for system enhancements.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices, promoting code quality and maintainability.
  • Provide training and mentoring to junior technical consultants, sharing knowledge and expertise to build a strong technical team.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, laying a strong foundation for technical expertise.
  • Holds relevant SAP certifications, such as SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP, demonstrating a commitment to SAP proficiency.
  • Boasts a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP technical consulting, showcasing a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Exhibits a deep understanding of various SAP modules, including but not limited to, SAP ECC and S/4HANA, ensuring comprehensive system knowledge.
  • Demonstrates strong proficiency in ABAP programming, including object-oriented programming, user exits, and BAdIs, enabling custom solution development.
  • Possesses excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Displays effective communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating collaboration with both technical and functional teams.
  • Exhibits a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team, promoting self-management and teamwork.
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, fostering continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in English language, both written and verbal, enabling effective communication with global teams and stakeholders.
