Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Purpose of the role:

To ensure effective communication and liaison between parents, school leadership teams and

staff for the smooth running of the school.

Team: Administration

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Key actions:

• Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls while providing information where

required.

• Liaising, communicating, and nurturing enrolled family relationships

• Offer guidance and assistance to parents through the student registration and admission

process during the initial enquiry stage

• Assist with school tours when necessary

• Provide general clerical/administrative support e.g. updating student attendance

registers

• Communicate with existing parents to ensure their concerns, complaints and

compliments feedback are handled effectively, efficiently and in a timely manner,

escalating to relevant SLT members when necessary and scheduling touch base

meetings as required.

• Coordinate parent/community events in order to engage parents in school activities and

celebrations.

• Assisting in the Induction process via introduction by welcome packs and regular touch

base calls

• Acting as first point of contact with external and internal stakeholders, ensuring prompt

and efficient action.

Qualifications and Experience

• High School diploma with a minimum of 3 years of customer service, front desk

experience, preferably within education or hospitality industry

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; confident, presentable and

professional at all times
