Oasis Investment Co. LLC is looking for a Chartered Accountant with strong hands-on experience in contracting accounting. The candidate must have practical exposure to project accounting, revenue recognition, cost control, and compliance within the construction/contracting industry in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Contract Accounting

• Handle end-to-end accounting for contracting projects.

• Monitor project-wise cost allocation (materials, labor, subcontractors, overheads).

• Track project budgets, cost-to-complete, and profitability.

• Reconcile project WIP and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Revenue Recognition & IFRS

• Apply IFRS 15 (Percentage of Completion method).

• Account for retention money, mobilization advances, contract variations, and claims.

• Ensure proper provisioning for project-related expenses and liabilities.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly project MIS, job costing reports, and variance analysis.

• Support month-end and year-end closing related to contracting operations.

• Coordinate with auditors for project-level financial review.

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure VAT and Corporate Tax compliance for contracting activities.

• Strengthen internal controls over project billing, subcontractor payments, and cost tracking.

• Review and reconcile project-related receivables and payables.

Process Improvement

• Improve and streamline contracting accounting processes.

• Support automation initiatives in project accounting and reporting.
