Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with UAE accounting standards.
• Manage VAT computations, filing, and compliance in accordance with FTA regulations.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting activities, and financial forecasts.
• Maintain accurate and timely records using Zoho Books, ensuring data integrity and workflow optimization.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with auditors for annual audits and ensure all required documentation is provided.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and recommend process improvements.
• Support management in decision-making through accurate financial reporting and insights.
• Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and internal controls.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of Zoho Books and other accounting software.
• In-depth understanding of UAE VAT laws and reporting requirements.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
