Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, and financial performance for construction projects.
  • Oversee cash flow management and support financial planning/forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support management decision-making.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA is a plus).
  • Minimum 5 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project accounting, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems, or construction accounting software).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
