Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Employee Life Cycle Management

  • Administer pre-onboarding and onboarding processes, including issuing offers/contracts, collecting required hiring documents, and coordinating employee readiness in accordance with SLAs.
  • Deliver or support induction activities and promote HR tools and global onboarding resources.
  • Administer employee benefits and respond to related enquiries.
  • Ensure benefit providers receive timely updates on changes (new joiners, leavers, family changes, salary adjustments, etc.).
  • Arrange payment of monthly benefit invoices and ensure correct cost centre recharging.
  • Track probation periods, follow up with managers, and escalate issues where needed to ensure timely decisions.
  • Administer offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with standard procedures and completion of all exit documentation.
  • Prepare employee correspondence (salary adjustments, bonuses, internal transfers, promotions, etc.) and update People Central workflows accurately.
  • Administer employee absence processes (annual leave, maternity/paternity, sick leave and holidays) and support associated reporting.
  • Respond to routine HR inquiries from internal and external customers, ensuring a timely and effective service.
  • Ensure full compliance with SITA SOPs related to Onboarding, Offboarding, and all Employee Life Cycle (ELC) activities.
  • Provide operational HR support across multiple countries in the MEA region.
  • Conduct visits to local government offices (e.g., Social Insurance Office, Labor Office) as required for employee documentation and compliance.
  • Maintain and update employee files, both digital and physical, ensuring accuracy, completeness, confidentiality, and compliance with SITA standards and legal requirements.

Benefits Administration

  • Coordinate with the benefits SPOC and local authorities to ensure smooth administration and compliance.
  • Support and Coordinate with the benefits SPOC to respond for the employee enquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, claims, and policy interpretation.
  • Ensure accuracy in benefits-related documentation and updates.

Governance & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in People Central and ensure data integrity through regular audits.
  • Produce HR reports and management information as requested.
  • Prepare documents, presentations, and other materials for internal and external audits.
  • Ensure adherence to SITA procurement procedures, including raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and resolving cost centre queries.
  • Monitor legislative changes impacting local HR policies and escalate relevant updates to the GEO HR Manager.
  • Adhere to SITA Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Onboarding, Offboarding, and all Employee Life Cycle (ELC) activities.
  • Uphold data privacy, confidentiality, and record retention requirements.

Strategic and Project Support

  • Provide administrative support for internal communications, including local or corporate HR briefings.
  • Support GEO HR in responding to data requests related to business cases (e.g., mergers & acquisitions, outsourcing, transfers, large deals).
  • Partner with Reward and GEO HR to provide accurate cost-of-employment data.
  • Participate in HR Operations improvement initiatives and assist in the rollout of HR programs.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree (BA) required. Excellent command of English; proficiency in an additional regional language is an advantage. Membership in a professional HR association is an advantage. Awareness of Egyptian labor laws, employment regulations, and social security processes is an advantage. Minimum 1+ years of HR administration experience. Experience with an HRIS system, preferably People Central. Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage confidential information. Solid understanding of HR processes across the employee life cycle. Strong customer service mindset with the ability to respond efficiently to enquiries. Ability to work collaboratively with HR, Finance, and other internal and external partners. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
