Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Senior Application Support Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft technologies and integration support. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in .NET applications, SQL Server, IIS administration, application deployment, and working with RESTful and SOAP APIs in production environments. Key Responsibilities Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for NET-based web applications and APIs. Troubleshoot application, database, IIS, and integration-related issues. Monitor system health, performance, and availability. Manage and configure Microsoft IIS web servers. Deploy applications across Development, UAT, and Production environments. Support and troubleshoot RESTful and SOAP web services integrations. Analyze API logs, request/response payloads, and resolve data or connectivity issues. Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and perform performance tuning. Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures. Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams for issue resolution. Maintain proper documentation of incidents, deployments, and configurations.

Desired Candidate Profile

5 to 6 years of strong experience in NET / ASPNET (Web Applications & Web APIs) Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server Query optimization Stored procedures Indexing and performance tuning Strong knowledge of Microsoft IIS configuration and troubleshooting Experience in application deployment and release management Hands-on experience working with: RESTful APIs (JSON, HTTP methods, status codes) SOAP Web Services (WSDL, XML, SOAP envelopes) Experience in API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, etc.) Understanding of Windows Server environments Experience in log analysis and debugging tools Soft Skills Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Ability to handle production incidents under pressure Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills Proactive and ownership-driven mindset
