Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement compliance policies and controls to detect misconduct.
  • Evaluate risk management strategies to ensure regulatory compliance of operations.
  • Coordinate with different departments to direct compliance issues to appropriate channels.
  • Conduct internal audits to assess whether established protocols are being followed.
  • Monitor ongoing activities to remain aware of emerging compliance trends.
  • Prepare detailed compliance-related reports and communicate findings to executive management.
  • Train staff on compliance-related topics, policies, or procedures.
  • Handle non-compliance issues and develop action plans for resolution.
  • Coordinate and manage audit exercises by regulatory bodies as required.
  • Keep abreast of new laws and regulations that may affect the organization's operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the implementation of corrective actions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a relevant field required.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a compliance-related role.
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry s standards and regulations.
  • Proven experience in managing compliance within a corporate setting.
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex data and legal documents.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to articulate compliance issues clearly.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to train staff on compliance matters.
