Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Drilling Supervisor is the Company Representative on the rig site and is responsible for the safe and cost-efficient execution of all Drilling/Completion/Workover related activities in accordance with the programme.
Desired Candidate Profile
University Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
20+ years well operations management experience. Min 10+ years’ experience as Senior Drilling Supervisor, out of which minimum 3 years international experience as a Drilling Supervisor.
Excellent understanding of and Drilling and Workover operational management and Supervision.
Proven personnel management skills
Proven project management skills
Proven commercial awareness.
A natural drive for performance improvement
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Remote operation management experience.
Good understanding of PTW system & isolation requirements, hazard identification, STOP authority, Night driving practices and load lifting practices.
Must have excellent command of the English Language (written and oral) combined with excellent communication skills.
Fully skilled in Well Engineering software’s and computer reporting. (EDM, Open Well, Excel etc.) Valid (<2 years old) IWCF Well Control Certification: Minimum = Land Supervisor level; Preferred = Combined Supervisor Level.
