Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive cost estimates for projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate and detailed estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather information on project requirements, scope, and specifications, ensuring alignment on budget and timelines.
- Conduct market research to assess labor, material, and equipment costs, adjusting estimates based on economic trends and local market conditions.
- Prepare and present detailed bid proposals to clients, highlighting value propositions and addressing potential concerns to secure contracts.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, with a strong foundation in construction principles and practices.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in estimating for construction projects, with a proven track record of successful bids across various sectors.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) or similar credentials that demonstrate advanced knowledge and expertise in estimating.
- Experience in commercial and residential construction, with a preference for candidates who have worked on large-scale projects.
