Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed workshops with clients to understand business processes and ERP needs.
- Prepare BRD, FRD, FitGap analysis, configuration documents, and solution design.
- Translate business requirements into scalable Business Central configurations.
- Recommend best practices based on industry standards and product capabilities.
Implementation & Configuration
- Configure Business Central modules such as Finance, SCM, Manufacturing, Projects (Jobs), and Service Management.
- Support data migration planning, master data templates, and validation cycles.
- Work with technical teams to review customizations, integrations, and extensions (AL).
- Ensure alignment between functional requirements and technical deliverables.
Project Execution & Leadership
- Lead the functional track across the full project lifecycle - from discovery to golive.
- Provide effort estimations, identify risks, and support project planning.
- Serve as SME for Business Central within internal and client teams.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, PMs, and client stakeholders.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Prepare and execute SIT and UAT test cases.
- Validate integrations, reports, custom workflows, and extensions.
- Ensure solution quality and minimize golive issues.
Training, Documentation & Support
- Prepare training materials and conduct enduser training sessions.
- Provide hypercare and postimplementation functional support.
- Suggest process improvements and continuous optimization opportunities.
Presales & Internal Contribution
- Support presales with product demos, solutioning, and effort estimation.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal knowledge building.
- Help enhance reusable assets, templates, and bestpractice frameworks.
Desired Candidate Profile
6to10 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV / D365 Business Central.
- Strong functional expertise in Finance, SCM, Manufacturing, Projects (Jobs), or Service modules.
- Minimum 3 fullcycle BC/NAV implementations.
- Ability to prepare functional documentation and collaborate effectively with technical teams.
- Good understanding of data migration, integrations, and extensions.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholdermanagement skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English (mandatory).
- Must have flexibility to travel based on project needs.
- Exposure to Power BI, Power Automate, or Microsoft 365 ecosystem (advantageous).
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate (preferred).
