Roles & Responsibilities
Role Summary:
Hala Fintech is seeking a strategic and dynamic Business Head to lead our Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy. This vital role centers around the development and execution of market entry strategies, customer retention initiatives, and innovative pricing models. The Business Head will collaborate closely with product and sales teams, ensuring seamless alignment on GTM activities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the fintech sector, demonstrating the ability to drive business growth and enhance customer loyalty in a competitive marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Go-To-Market Strategy:
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positions within the fintech industry. This includes assessing regulatory factors unique to the KSA market.
- Strategic GTM Planning: Create a detailed GTM plan that encapsulates product positioning, target customer segments, marketing approaches, and distribution strategies tailored for the unique fintech landscape in KSA.
- Execution and Adaptation: Oversee the implementation of GTM strategies, ensuring all teams are equipped and aligned to execute plans effectively. Utilize market feedback to refine strategies dynamically and ensure the company's products meet evolving customer expectations.
- Retention Strategies:
- Customer Journey Mapping: Develop clear customer journey maps that illustrate key touchpoints. Identify opportunities to enhance customer engagement and loyalty throughout the lifecycle.
- Engagement Initiatives: Create targeted retention campaigns based on customer data analytics. Implement loyalty programs and personalized communication strategies that resonate with customers and enhance retention.
- Feedback and Improvement: Establish mechanisms for ongoing customer feedback collection through surveys and interaction analyses to continuously improve service offerings and customer experience.
- Pricing Strategy:
- Cost and Value Analysis: Perform in-depth cost analyses and assess market value perceptions to develop competitive pricing strategies that cater to diverse customer segments in KSA.
- Dynamic Pricing Models: Design and implement dynamic pricing strategies, utilizing data analytics to adjust pricing based on market conditions, customer behavior, and competitor tactics.
- Communication of Value: Ensure pricing strategies are communicated effectively, highlighting the unique value proposition of Hala Fintech s offerings to both existing and potential customers.
- Collaboration and Leadership:
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Foster collaboration among product, sales, marketing, and customer support teams, ensuring cohesive strategy execution across all departments.
- Mentorship and Team Development: Provide mentorship to team members, fostering a culture that prioritizes professional growth, teamwork, and excellence.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment on company objectives and facilitating cooperative strategies for market expansion.
- Performance Management:
- Metrics Development: Define, monitor, and report on KPIs that assess the effectiveness of GTM strategies, retention efforts, and overall business performance.
- Data-Driven Insights: Utilize advanced analytics to generate insights into performance outcomes. Conduct regular performance reviews, adjusting strategies based on findings to ensure growth and adaptability.
- Continuous Improvement: Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by systematically reviewing performance metrics and implementing strategic pivots as necessary.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field; MBA is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 10 years of experience in a strategic role within the fintech or technology sector, with a strong emphasis on GTM strategy development and execution.
- Knowledge of Market Dynamics: Deep understanding of the fintech landscape in KSA, including regulatory frameworks, customer behavior, and competitor analysis.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to use data to drive decision-making and strategy adjustments.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and team management skills; ability to inspire, mentor, and lead cross-functional teams towards achieving common goals.
- Communication Proficiency: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
