Roles & Responsibilities
Role OverviewThis role sits within Wholesale Banking Finance and focuses on overseeing Treasury finance, control, and reporting activities. It requires strong expertise in Treasury product accounting, P&L control, and regulatory reporting, along with team oversight.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrengthen control frameworks across Treasury products and GL accountsLead Treasury P&L verification, attribution analysis, and variance reportingOversee GL reconciliations (balance sheet & off-balance sheet, FX activities)Ensure accurate accounting in line with IFRS and regulatory requirementsManage financial, regulatory, and disclosure reporting for TreasuryMonitor valuations, market risk exposure, and MTM reportingOversee derivatives accounting (swaps, FX, options) and valuation controlsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysisPartner with business stakeholders to drive insights and decision-makingLead enhancements to Treasury systems and accounting frameworks
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements10+ years experience in Treasury Finance / Product Control within bankingStrong knowledge of IFRS, Treasury products, and valuation methodologiesProven experience in P&L control, reconciliations, and regulatory reportingExposure to derivatives, hedge accounting, and market risk reportingExperience engaging senior stakeholders
