Senior Manager, Treasury Risk Transformation Client of Aventus Global Talent

About the ClientOur client is a leading UAE bank undergoing a major upgrade of its Treasury and Market Risk infrastructure. As part of a wider transformation programme, the bank is enhancing its risk systems, models and reporting capabilities to strengthen regulatory compliance and balance sheet risk management.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the delivery of Treasury and Market Risk system upgrades, including migration of spreadsheet-based models into strategic platforms.Review, calibrate, and enhance risk models across Market Risk, IRRBB, and Liquidity Risk frameworks.Ensure full balance sheet risk capture, including VaR, DV01, EVE/EaR, LCR, and NSFR metrics.Define data requirements and work closely with Treasury, Finance, Technology, and system vendors.Enhance stress testing, scenario analysis, and ALCO reporting.Ensure alignment with Basel III and all applicable regulatory standards.

Requirements7+ years experience in Treasury Risk or Market Risk within a reputable bank.Strong expertise in IRRBB (EVE/EaR), liquidity risk (LCR/NSFR), and market risk measurement.Experience in risk system implementation or transformation projects (e.g., Balance Sheet Manager, FIS, Murex, Calypso or similar).Solid understanding of Basel III frameworks.Strong analytical skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.Degree in Finance, Mathematics, or related field; FRM/PRM is a plus.
