Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The role covers financial control, product control, balance sheet management, and performance reporting across wholesale banking and treasury products, with responsibility for mentoring junior team members.
Key responsibilities
- Strengthen control over Wholesale Banking P&L and Balance Sheet, identifying and escalating issues
- Review BS/IS movements, highlight unusual trends, and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenues, expenses, assets, and liabilities
- Deliver business finance support including variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance insights
- Oversee FX exposure reporting, independent P&L verification (IPV), and GL reconciliations
- Manage Balance Sheet Management (BSM) activities, securities valuation, MTM, and market risk exposure
- Support hedge accounting (IFRS), derivatives accounting, and valuation control
- Partner with Treasury, Product Control, Risk, and IT on controls and system enhancements

- Hands-on Murex experience
- Strong exposure to Derivatives, FX, Bonds / Fixed Income, and Money Markets
