Senior Network Architect INTALEQ

Role Purpose-

The Senior Network Architect is responsible for strategically designing, planning enterprise-wide network architectures to support current and future business needs. This role ensures that the network infrastructure is scalable, secure, resilient, and aligned with organizational goals and SLAs. The architect will lead design initiatives, oversee complex deployments, and provide technical leadership to engineers and NOC teams, ensuring seamless integration of advanced technologies.

Responsibilities-

Strategic Network Architecture

• Define and design enterprise-level network architectures (LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, NAC, Cloud).

• Develop long-term strategies for scalability, resilience, and security.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption.

Governance & Standards

• Establish and enforce network design standards, policies, and best practices.

• Ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulatory requirements.

• Lead architecture reviews and approval processes.

Solution Design & Implementation

• Architect and oversee deployment of advanced Cisco solutions (Routers, Switches, WLC, ISE, DNA Center).

• Integrate cloud networking and hybrid infrastructure solutions.

• Provide technical leadership during complex implementations.

• Support basic network automation initiatives using Python, Ansible, or similar tools.

• Contribute to introducing AI-assisted tools that enhance troubleshooting and operational efficiency.

Performance & Optimization

• Guide NOC teams in proactive monitoring and optimization.

• Define KPIs and benchmarks for network performance.

• Conduct capacity planning and risk assessments.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Mentor and guide network engineers and administrators.

• Collaborate with system architects, cybersecurity teams, and vendors.

• Act as the primary technical authority for network-related decisions.

  
  

Documentation & Reporting

• Produce high-level architecture diagrams and design documents.

• Deliver executive-level reports on network health, risks, and future roadmap.

Qualification-

10+ years in IT networking, with at least 3 years in architectural or senior design roles.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT.

• CCNP and CCIE (mandatory).

• Additional certifications in cloud networking (AWS/Azure) or security (CISSP, CISM) are a plus.

Required Skillset:

• Proven track record in designing and implementing large-scale enterprise networks.

• Deep knowledge of routing, switching, and advanced protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF, VXLAN, SD-WAN).

• Expertise in Cisco enterprise solutions (Routers, Switches, WLC, ISE, DNA Center, ACI).

• Strong understanding of cloud networking (Azure, AWS, GCP) and hybrid architectures.

• Proficiency with monitoring/analysis tools (SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, Wireshark).

• Experience with network automation tools (Python, Ansible, APIs).

• Familiarity with AI-assisted network tools or platforms is an advantage.
