Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design and development of Calypso-based solutions across modules
  • Own Calypso architecture decisions and ensure scalability of implementations
  • Drive integration with external systems using REST APIs, FIX protocol, and Kafka
  • Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
  • Manage trade lifecycle processes from booking to settlement and accounting
  • Configure and maintain workflows, scheduled tasks, and engine components
  • Own Oracle DB design, query optimization, and stored procedures
  • Support front office workstation, pricing sheets, and deal processing

Desired Candidate Profile

Preferred candidate profile

  • 5+ years of Calypso development experience with deep scripting knowledge
  • Sound understanding of Calypso architecture and all core modules
  • Proven experience with Calypso APIs for complex integrations
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Treasury products: FX, MM, Bonds, Repo, IRS, CCS, CDS
  • Expertise across full trade lifecycle capture, settlement, accounting, and reporting
  • Advanced Core Java programming skills
  • Strong Oracle DB skills complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning
  • Solid REST API framework experience
  • Hands-on experience with FIX protocol and Apache Kafka
