Roles & Responsibilities
The Senior Sales Area Manager is a position reporting directly to the GM/Chairman.
We are looking for an entrepreneur by nature, visionary, and someone capable of:
- Driving margins and sales in the mentioned regions by being result driven.
- Building a pipeline of new mills and secure long-term supply agreements.
- Expanding into new markets and customer segments in the Gulf Region.
- Suggesting new products and develop business cases with the management.
- Recommending improvements in sales, marketing, CRM, collections, and processes.
- Supporting and coaching junior SAMs and Market Coordinators.
- Coordinating closely with the Business Development team.
- Joining internal committees to provide strategic input.
- Acting as Chairman delegate when needed.
Desired Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate we are looking for must have at least 7-10 years of sales experience in Lebanon, UAE and Egypt, preferably in the paper and pulp trading experience.
Qualifications required:
- 7-10 years of experience in sales in the countries of operation, ideally in the pulp and paper trading industry
- University degree in business or equivalent
- Great negotiation skills, business development drive, and ability to close big deals successfully.
- Culture is key, we are looking for someone with great ability to work in multicultural environment, have leadership skills, adaptable and agile personality, resilient with a high capacity for crisis management and problem solving, structured and professional in reporting sales figures, benchmarks and competition activity.
