Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Calypso-based applications using scripting and Java
  • Design and implement integrations using REST APIs, FIX protocol, and Kafka
  • Build and enhance back-office processing: settlement, accounting, and reporting
  • Configure and optimize Calypso workflows, scheduled tasks, and engine processes
  • Support front office operations including Calypso Workstation and Pricing Sheets
  • Write efficient SQL queries and manage Oracle DB objects
  • Collaborate with product and business teams on trade lifecycle requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in Calypso environments

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of Calypso scripting and development experience
  • Strong understanding of Calypso architecture and core modules
  • Solid experience with Calypso APIs for integration and customization
  • Hands-on knowledge of Equity products and Treasury instruments (FX, MM, Bonds, Repo, IRS, CCS, CDS)
  • Deep expertise in trade lifecycle: booking, settlement, accounting, reporting
  • Proficiency in Core Java for Calypso customization
  • Hands-on Oracle DB experience SQL, stored procedures, optimization
  • REST API development and consumption experience
  • Real-time integration experience using FIX protocol and Apache Kafka
