Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end architecture and solution design for enterprise banking and merchant acquiring platforms.
Design scalable and secure microservices and API-driven architectures across digital banking ecosystems.
Define high-level architecture, integration patterns, reusable frameworks, and enterprise design standards.
Collaborate with delivery teams, engineering leads, security teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.
Drive architecture governance, design reviews, and technology evaluations.
Design resilient and highly available distributed systems on cloud-native/container-based platforms.
Ensure security, compliance, and regulatory requirements are embedded into solution architecture.
Contribute to reusable enterprise architecture blueprints and reference architectures.
Mentor engineers, developers, and junior architects on architecture best practices and modern engineering patterns.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinements, retrospectives, and quarterly planning sessions.
Drive solution alignment across customer experience, business requirements, performance, resiliency, and security objectives.
Conduct peer reviews, architecture workshops, and technical knowledge-sharing sessions.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Solution Architect with strong expertise in Solution Architecture, Security Architecture, Digital Banking Platforms, API Ecosystems, and Merchant Acquiring solutions.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience designing and delivering resilient, secure, scalable, and cloud-native enterprise solutions across banking and financial services environments. The role requires strong ownership, stakeholder management, architectural leadership, and the ability to work closely with delivery, engineering, infrastructure, security, and product teams.

Required Experience

10+ years of overall technology experience
5+ years in Solution Architecture / Enterprise Architecture roles
Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise banking solutions
Experience designing secure and resilient API/microservices ecosystems
Strong stakeholder management and architecture governance experience
Experience working within Agile delivery environments

Preferred Skills

Merchant Acquiring domain expertise
Security Architecture certifications or hands-on experience
Exposure to cyber security controls and threat modeling
Experience mentoring technical teams and architects
